Okay - update on the desktop blogging app situation. Pinging trackbacks with w.bloggar does not work with Typepad (although I seem to be able to ping the set choices of pingomatic and the like). But pasting a ping list into the trackback URLs area prevents me from posting to my Typepad blogs. So this is a test to see if w.bloggar will ping trackbacks when posting to Wordpress.

Update: Yes, the trackbacks went through when posting to Wordpress.
