I have a funny feeling I’m going to have to make some more changes around here on this blog. It’s still feels too work-oriented to me, and I really really need a place to loosen up and just gab.

Things have been going great this past week, although the workload is still horrendous, and looks like it will stay that way into the new year. I’ve really settled into a blogging rhythm both for Darren’s camera phones blog, and a couple of my own blogs, but I have that sorry problem of about five blogs that are still itching to be launched, only I just haven’t gotten around to it.

I haven’t had much time to play around with all of the content I have, though, or to write more content for my affiliate sites. The affiliate stuff really has been put on the backburner for now, which isn’t necessarily a good thing, since I have a new six-month plan in which I aim to be able to cut back on a nice portion of offline work by the time spring rolls around.

The Nanowrimo-based blog has been doing a lot of morphing around, but thanks to Teli, I think I’ve got my head straight now about how it’s all going to work, so it’s just a matter of fine-tuning the template (which Teli liked, and since I’m such a wishy washy person, once she said she liked it, I decided, okay, then it must be good), then fitting it into the blogging schedule.

Um, not that this means I’ve actually started on Nanowrimo. But that’s okay, too. I’m only a week behind, and anyway, this novel will take me a lot longer than 30 days to finish anyway. The thing is, Nanowrimo has given me the push I needed to start thinking about truly writing this novel. And once I start the blog, then I’m committed to completing it.

I’ve also been on a bit of a domain name buying spree lately - don’t ask me why, because all I can say is that Yahoo’s $2.99 special was just way too much for me to resist. Mind you, it’s not like I saved any money, because at $2.99, how could I not register for three years at a time?
