Well, I didn’t exactly end up cleaning my desk the other day - if anything, it’s more messy than when I blogged about it. Plus my piles are getting to precarious levels, and now I have to be careful how I move because so far today I’ve had several things slide off my desk.

On the other hand, I did manage to re-organize my kitchen yesterday. I’m really pleased with it, too. Basically, I moved all my cutting equipment over to where there’s more light, with the sink on one side, and my oven on the other side.

This involved actually re-arranging my kitchen drawers.

Which really made me think about how much junk I have lying around.

Which then made me want to procrastinate cleaning my desk even more.

But truly, re-arranging my kitchen was actually work-related, since I’ve had a kitchen and cooking blog ready to launch since before Christmas. I’m not exactly a domestic goddess, but looking at this new-feeling kitchen of mine is making me want to actually do some cooking, which I’m hoping will be good for the new food blog.

It doesn’t, though, get me any closer to cleaning up my desk.
