January To-Dos
I’ve been sitting here thinking about what’s on my plate for January. There’s a ton of stuff and it’s so important that I get the sites I’ve got lined up launched before the end of this month. I am on a 12-month plan - I SO want next Christmas to be about the season, and NOT about getting through one deadline after another!
Actually, the sites I’m working on are really on a six-month plan, and then from there I’ll be looking at another six month plan. But I’m really excited about 2006 - there’s so much potential! So it’s not really going to be hard to motivate myself.
Right now, I’ve got heavy deadlines until mid-January, but so far, things have been going smoothly. I am trying to “prepave” or “intend” segments of my time before I actually sit down to work, and amazingly enough, the work’s been just flying.
I also have a bunch of products that I need to review for Adventures. I tend to sit down and write a batch of reviews at a time, so I’m hoping to get to these as soon as the deadlines ease up.
It looks like blogging will get quite heavy both this month and next, so I’m basically just taking a deep deep breath and letting everything flow. The nice thing is, apart from the offline work, it’s all fun. And I fully intend to keep it that way!
Which is why I’ve decided to add two fun sites to my plate. They are my own personal versions of the Prosperity Game, and I’m really excited about them.
(It always seems like I get the most ideas when I’m at my busiest. Anyone ever notice that?)
