More Juicy Stuff on Launching a Blog
I’m in the process of developing three new blogs, and plan to implement all the things I’ve been learning recently about growing a great blog.
As a “working blogger”, much of my work is of the “clip and quickly discuss” variety. These three new blogs, however, are my “heart and soul” blogs, centered around building community, adding value, and continued, joy-filled learning. I have an inspiring and all-encompassing sense of purpose with these blogs that has been taking my breath away.
So I absolutely love it when I come across a great post that inspires AND includes links to more resources.
Steve Olson’s post on How This Blog Attracted 100,000 Visitors in the First 30 Days is one such post.
I know this blog has a long way to go, but we are off to a good start. I am not an expert. I don’t have the experience. I gleaned good ideas and/or inspiration from each of these people and sites. If you intend to create a high traffic blog, apply the knowledge provided by these people.
Steve’s written his post in gratitude, as a way of giving thanks to all the people who helped him successfully launch his blog.
Posts like this are nothing short of inspiring, and a great starting point for firming up your big blogging dreams.
