I’ve just had the past few days, and a few more days coming up, to devote myself to getting some of my site plans up and live … and it’s been a case of struggle, struggle, tweak, tweak, with all these weird tech things going on.

First, let me say, PHP and I do not get along. Luckily, I have friends who dream in PHP code (thank you, Teli!)

I’ve also got a template that I’ve tweaked to near-perfection, which does come in handy for launching new sites. So I thought I was really raring to go - things were just going so well.

And now something has been doing weird things to various programs on my computer. I’m missing files. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall various programs, and one program that I can’t uninstall at all, I finally had to go into my startup folder and delete the shortcut for it so the darn thing wouldn’t start running every time I reboot.

Oh, and did I mention my new iPod? The one I got the other day (it was my Christmas present, only they’ve been sold out in these parts) and had to return because it was defective. And then the new one has this incident with the USB cable … it turned out the computer needed a reboot (and yes, I’m starting to wonder if maybe I need a new computer)

I’m definitely not a techie. I love my gadgets, just don’t ask me to get under the hood, okay?
